Company Profile:
Powertex Group has over 75 years experience in the apparel
decoration and distribution industry. Our company has evolved
into a full-service promotional marketing company with many
value-added services that set us apart from the competition.
The evolution and dynamic growth of our company has been attributed to its innovative, forward-thinking approach to the unique promotional
marketing challenges our clients provide.
Powertex Group’s core business areas all revolve around the design, screen-printing/embroidery, sourcing, fulfillment, and real-world uses of branded promotional products. We excel in problem solving for our clients, and each of our solutions is tailored to our clients’ specific needs.
Powertex Group’s 5 core service areas can be broken down into the following key areas: Product Design and Sourcing, Program Marketing, Merchandising and Live Dedicated Customer Support, E-Commerce and Custom Application Development, Inventory Management and Warehousing, and Item Fulfillment.
There are currently a number of corporations and holdings
beneath the Powertex Group umbrella, including RBM solutions,
a Minority Owned Corporation. Currently, our company is rated
in the top 1% in our industry nation-wide and has come to
be recognized as a leader in providing effective promotional
marketing solutions.
Company Details:
Powertex Group provides custom branded promotional solutions for corporate programs (e.g. customer retention
and acquisition, sales/dealer incentives, and service/awards
recognition to a variety of different types of clientele. Below are the three seperators that, we believe, seperate our organization from the rest of the competition:
A focus on “improvement on purpose” ensuring long-term competitiveness while expanding our service line and thus our overall value to our clients
A focus on becoming better, quicker, and more agile at helping our customers reach their goals and raise efficiencies, while lowering costs.
A focus on client engagement: Whether our communication is with new prospects, our current customers, or we are communication on behalf of our corporate partners to their audiences, we want to make sure we are effectively engaging our audiences, and pro-actively getting them the information they need in the most efficient manner possible.
Company History:
Powertex was established in 1993 by Paul Powers who acquired the knowledge necessary for building the foundation for Powertex through over 35 years of sourcing and distribution experience. The organization originally began as a distributor of apparel to big box retail outlets. Shortly after inception, Powertex Group added screen printing and embroidery to its core list of services.
Powertex began to see our first successes almost immediately through leveraging pre-existing domestic and overseas relationships and efficiently producing merchandise on-site. Powertex Group added several Big-Box retailer names to our client list within the first several years.
It was at that time this time that our organization honed the ability to design, source, and merchandise items attractive to retail purchasers. It was our ability to develop cost-competitive trendy items that catapulted us forward in the marketplace. This remains a constant theme in our organization and is critical in nearly every program we develop.
Beginning in the year 2000, Powertex Group began making major inroads into the corporate fulfillment and live event retail support. We began to offer E-Commerce services as a way of proactively promoting our clients’ brand identities. After we began implementing the E-Commerce services into our organization, many other services (such as email marketing and customer service and support) followed. These services augmented our already vast array of services.
It was in the period after 2003 when Powertex began to truly break through as a top-tier promotional products organization, adding companies such as; Ranger Boats, Miller Brewing, Mathews Bows, PepsiCo, Kohl’s, BRP (Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Can Am, Spyder, and Evinrude Brands), Macy’s and JanSport to it’s roster of customers. It was during this time our company really began to focus on providing unique promotional solutions to our partners, as it was this that truly separated out organization from the rest of the industry.
Powertex has continued to add to its list of value added services and we have seen steady, consistent growth from our customers. Revenue has grown by an average of 20% each year since 2003, leading to the organization you see today. In 2006, we embarked on a major renovation of our central facility, adding a large addition. This expansion increased the available office and warehousing space.
In 2009, Powertex invested heavily in modern trends such as RSS and social media. We have also added a host of new internal improvements, integrations and applications available for specific client needs over the last 18 months.
2010 Went well for Powertex, with new promotional branding initiatives being launched for General Motors (eight major GM brands including Chevy, Cadillac, and GMC), as well as for Mozilla (makers of the Firefox web browser). |
| We measure the success
of our company not so much on the capabilities
of our technology, the size of our facility,
or the speed and efficiency of our distribution,
but on the valuable client relations we develop
and the unique way we combine our strengths
and talents to help our clients reach their
goals. With customer retention rates more than
double the industry standard, we consider our
customer-first focus to be a critical factor
in our continued success. |
