4/11 Expanded digital capabilities soon a reality for Powertex

Last July, Powertex became one of the first companies worlwide to obtain a Kornit digital printing press. The Kornit press has revolutionized the way we do busines, as we can now offer full-color printing in smaller quantities. The only limitation of the technology thus far has been the inability to print on dark garmants. That is about to change however, as Powertex is in the process of upgrading the technology to accomodate printing on dark garments. The upgrades are in the process of being installed, and we are currently testing and integrating the new technology. We hope to be printing on darker colored garments by early May.

3/31 Powertex Reports 25% first quarter earnings increase

Powertex reported a more than 25% increase in sales this quarter over those of last year. The growth has been due to a number of factors including: Strengthened relationships with current business partners, Expansion into new markets, and a compelling desire to service its customers. These results have largely come about due to an improved and expanded Sales Force, along with more focused brand building efforts at Powertex. The next quarter looks bright as well, with similar growth predicted.

3/15 Powertex Expands its range with yet another territorial office

Powertex has set its sights on the Rochester area, with the opening of yet another regional office. The office will be headed by Elaine Scalzo, who has over 6 years of experience within Powertex, and three decades of experience within the screenprinting and embroidery industry. We, at Powertex are extremely excited about the potetial oppurtinites the Rochester Area presents, and look forward it to being an integral part of our future growth.

2/06 Powertex Expands its range with a new territorial office

Powertex has expanded into Minnesota with the hiring of Dan Farsht (pictured right). Dan grew up in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and graduated in 1996 from the University of St. Thomas with majors in both Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Prior to his role as a Senior Account Executive with Powertex Group, Dan was co-owner and President of Twin Cities Novelties, a wholesale distributor of children’s novelty products based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dan brings to our company an extensive background in sales, marketing, and finance and is focused on expanding Powertex’ market presence in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

1/04 Powertex Adds new features to website

We have added a page to the site with downloadable employment applications and job postings for our latest career opportunities. Also, we have added a new link to our phone directory for finding numbers quickly on our contact us page.
